our approach to learning.
THE 5 STEP APPROACH
At ted Education, we always follow these 5 steps when working with any School, College or University.
This is how we create and deliver dramatically different, engaging and fun experiential learning and ensure a consistent approach to each course we deliver.
Everything we do is bespoke to your organisation and employee needs. The best feedback we get is when learners say they felt we “got their challenges”, “understood what it’s like to work with younger people” or “the training was really targeted at the Educational sector”.
Prior to any drama based training taking place, we spend time understanding your specific needs and working with you to discover what the specific outcomes need to be as a direct result of the training. We call this our DNA time.
We then create a bespoke experiential training programme for your people which is 100% relevant to them and their needs and delivers your overall organisational goals and objectives. We don’t do off the shelf – all of our products are created around a defined template to meet your individual requirements. What is a challenge for one School, College or University, will be completely different for another. The make-up of the students, for example, will be completely different so we will cast actors based on your reality. We want to ensure when people experience a ted Education session, they instantly recognise their world.
The next step is to experience our ted Education training. Our dramatically different, engaging and fun drama based training can be observational or participative. This means the learners can observe or participate in the day with our actors, whichever suits their learning style best. For some of our courses we use video-based learning and in these circumstances, we take a more observational and discussion-based approach but we can still utilise a live actor to create the engagement element. We also provide a blended approach with engagement pre/post the classroom-based session, a virtual classroom option and a fully online offer.
How was it?
Each learner has the opportunity to feedback on their ted Education experience. Depending on the delivery environment, we will either capture this via physical or digital feedback form or through learner surveys on our online courses. Where relevant, our trainers collate this immediately after each session and let us know their feedback as well. We will then recommend how our training can be further embedded into your organisation. We also use this to constantly learn and improve our products and to celebrate our successes.
In order to sustain any training we deliver, ted Education doesn’t want to just drop in, deliver great sessions & leave. We want to embed the learning into your organisation so that it is more likely to be long-term and lead to lasting changes. We therefore offer blended learning and online learning as a way to extend past any classroom or virtual classroom based sessions so that can we continue to support, add value and deliver the return on investment. We also provide teaching staff with access to our online resource centre.
