Inclusion, Equality & Diversity
ALL TYPES AND LEVELS OF ROLE
This course is for all staff working in an educational setting, supporting them to understand both their own and their organisation’s responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010. We use our actors to bring to life different educational scenarios to show the impact of inappropriate interactions and behaviours, and explore how we can all contribute to creating an inclusive, respectful working and learning environment.

Inclusion, Equality & Diversity with a focus on Race
ALL TYPES AND LEVELS OF ROLE
This version of our Inclusion, Equality & Diversity course has been developed for educational settings facing specific challenges around Race and Ethnicity. Our actors showcase a variety of different educational scenarios where unconscious bias, assumptions, unintentional comments and banter result in negative experiences and further issues for students. We explore how we can manage situations differently, committing to an inclusive, respectful working and learning environment.

Mental Health Awareness
ALL TYPES AND LEVELS OF ROLE
In the workplace, mental health problems are a leading cause of absence with a staggering 70 million working days lost in the UK each year. Education is a high-pressure environment requiring resilience and strength on physical, emotional and mental levels in order to support our students, parents, colleagues and ourselves effectively. In this theatre-based learning session, we use actors to focus on some educationally based scenarios where the importance of mental wellbeing might not be recognised, and blend theory with practical tools for delegates to support their own and other’s mental good health.

Getting Stuff Done
ALL TYPES AND LEVELS OF ROLE
The teaching day might finish at 3pm but most people working in education know that the day certainly does not end there! With a variety of deadline-sensitive responsibilities and ever-changing duties in reaction to individual students’ needs, working in education means you need to be an expert in prioritising and managing your own time. This course is packed full of different time management tools, allowing delegates to determine which techniques work best for them.

Brave Conversations
ALL TYPES AND LEVELS OF ROLE
There are times when all of us need to have difficult conversations, be it with a student, a parent, a colleague or a direct report, and it’s important that we get the right message across as it might be our only chance to do so. In this interactive, theatre-based session, we explore different approaches to help educational employees deliver difficult messages with empathy and skill, supporting good communication and positive relationships.

First Steps Into Management ILM Endorsed Programme
MANAGERIAL ROLES
In education, people are often promoted into positions of responsibility, heading up teams or departments due to their specialist subject knowledge or length of experience. Whilst these skills are invaluable, often people management skills and experience are overlooked, and so we end up with the ‘accidental manager’ – which doesn’t bode well for the individual, team or organisation. This programme aims to banish the accidental manager, giving delegates a solid grounding in the skills needed to successfully manage others, and has been endorsed by the ILM as a high quality training programme.

Coaching and Mentoring
MANAGERIAL ROLES
Experienced education professionals are often called upon to support less experienced members of staff or those currently completing professional training, and it can sometimes be challenging to do so without slipping into teacher-mode. This theatre-based learning course uses actors to explore a variety of coaching and mentoring techniques, using educational scenarios and real play, moving delegates away from a ‘tell’ approach and towards more engaging, empowering interactions that encourage individuals to become more self-aware.

Mental Health Awareness and Your Role as a Leader
MANAGERIAL ROLES
This course is specifically designed for employees who manage others, and builds on the Mental Health Awareness course (which must be attended first – we can deliver both courses together as a one-day workshop if preferred). In it, we use our actors to explore a variety of education-based scenarios where managers will need to support others with their mental health concerns, mixing theatre-based learning with theory and practical tools, enabling delegates to focus on how to lead a culture which encourages mental wellbeing.

Emotional Intelligence
MANAGERIAL ROLES
Working in education can present a myriad of situations every day that pull on the emotions, and often these emotions drive behaviour that negatively affects performance, interactions with others and working relationships. This course supports managers to increase their self-awareness, improving their emotional intelligence to help them make better choices rather than reacting unconsciously.

Rebuilding Team Dynamics
MANAGERIAL ROLES
Social distancing restrictions, student bubbles, self-isolation and furlough have changed the dynamics of educational teams and the staff-room is no longer able to provide the supportive, collaborative environment it once did. This course supports managers with practical tools to rebuild post-covid 19 educational teams to move forwards during challenging times.

Inspirational Leadership
EDUCATIONAL SENIOR LEADERSHIP
Leading an educational organisation requires resilience, integrity, competence and confidence. In this course, specifically designed for senior leaders, we explore what an inspirational and highly effective leader looks like, and increase delegates’ self-awareness to support the fulfilment of their own, others, and the organisation’s potential.

Leading Through Change
EDUCATIONAL SENIOR LEADERSHIP
This course, using drama-based techinques, supports senior educational leadership teams to steer organisations and their people through times of change.
